Krast space 1, space 2. 2015.
Krast is Julia Emmery (sound), Sanne Huysmans (text) & Lou De Buck (video). A collaboration on “Observing happens through the senses”.
The result is a two-part installation that wants to stimulate the senses through different parameters. There is image, text and sound that contradicts, amplifies or alternates.
In November 2015, this trio went to residency at Bains Connective in Brussels to investigate the concept of “recurrence” and the subsequent psychological reaction. The result was named “Krast”.

Krast is Julia Emmery (klank), Sanne Huysmans (tekt) & Lou De Buck (video). Een samenwerking rond “Waarnemen gebeurt door zintuigen”.
Het resultaat is een twee-delige installatie die de zintuigen wil prikkelen via verschillende parameters. Er is beeld, tekst en klank die elkaar tegenspreekt, versterkt of afwisselt.
In november 2015 ging dit trio in residentie in Bains Connective in Brussel om onderzoek te doen naar het concept ‘herhaling’ en de daaropvolgende psychologische reactie. Het resultaat kreeg de naam ‘Krast’.
