‘Filming Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden’ is a retelling of Adam and Eve from Van Eyck’s ‘The Lamb of God’. These timeless primal figures come to life and are depicted in the same way.
The video shows the relationship between creative thinking – converting an idea into practice – and the creative person, the artist. As spectators we are involved in the creative process.

‘Filming Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden’ is een herwerking naar Adam en Eva uit ‘Het Lam Gods’ van Van Eyck. Deze tijdloze oerfiguren komen tot leven en worden op eenzelfde manier afgebeeld.
De video toont de relatie tussen het scheppend denken – een idee omzetten in praktijk – en de scheppende mens, de kunstenaar. We worden als toeschouwer betrokken in het scheppingsproces.
